Parsons Mobile Eye Care provide?

 

It is our belief that vision in the elderly population, including the mentally and physically challenged, is critical for maximizing the quality of daily life. It would be our pleasure to help care for your patients through examinations, testing and treatment, service calls, and education for your nurses and staff.

 

Providing professional eyecare services, on site, to your residents.

 

Benefits of these services include:

  • Testing for high-risk conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and hypertension
  • Treatment for visual disturbances, eye infections, foreign bodies and other acute conditions
  • Experienced Optometrists with specially-geared equipment for the mentally and physically challenged of all ages
  • Optical services including frames, lenses and repairs
  • Coordination with area Ophthalmologists for specials needs patients and follow-up after surgery
  • Medicare/Medicaid assignments accepted; HMO’s with co-pays
  • Arrangements for exams and glasses available to private pay patients

 

Examination of patients in Skilled Nursing Homes or ACLF’s. These comprehensive examinations can be performed in the patient’s room if bed bound, or in a separate designated area provided by the facility. Our examinations include a complete review of the resident’s/patient’s medical history, medications, and current health problems. Our ocular examination will be comprehensive with particular emphasis on ocular disease including cataracts, glaucoma, and visually-debilitating retinal diseases. Additionally, we diagnose and treat any bacterial or viral infections which would be communicable to other residents or staff in the facility.

 

We accept Medicare and Medicaid as payment for services, as well as private pay and most major HMO policies.

 

For those individuals needing eyewear, we provide a full selection of frames suited to the patient’s financial situation. We additionally carry Medicaid-approved frames. Glasses purchased without insurance will be regularly discounted 50% from our standard office charges in Port Richey.

 

Adjustments for frames provided by Parsons Eye Associates will be made on a regular scheduled basis to provide the utmost comfort for the patients/residents in your facility.

 

24-hour service calls with a Doctor/Consultant are available through our local number.

 

Special discounts are provided to the employees of the facility when seeking professional care at our office in Port Richey.
